Sandra Brown, 59, of Jasper passed away on Friday, January 29, 2016 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, Texas.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Shultz Funeral Home in Jasper.  The family will greet friends on Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service.  Interment will follow at North Baptist Cemetery in Jasper.

Mary Neil Powell

Mary Neil Powell, 71, of Jasper passed away at St. Luke's Hospital in Houston on Tuesday, February 2, 2016.  A Celebration of her Life will be held on Friday, February 5, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Jasper.  The family will greet friends on Thursday, February 4th from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Shultz Funeral Home.

Carl Frederick Protz, 82, of Dam B passed away at his daughter's home in Baton Rouge, Louisiana after battling cancer.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at Shultz Funeral Home in Jasper.  The family will greet friends on Saturday evening from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

Helen Redding

1951-2016

Helen Maxine Redding, 64 of Galveston went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 31, 2016.
     She was born June 5, 1951 in Galveston, Texas to Annie “Matilda” Black and Jimmy Vernon Black.   Helen worked at The Galveston County Court House and retired from the District Clerk’s Office after 30 years of service.  Helen is preceded in death by her Mom Annie “Matilda” Black, Father Jimmy Vernon Black, Brother Larry Black, and Brother In Law Jimmie Dillon Sr.   She is survived by her Husband; Aulcie “Sonny” Redding, Sisters; Charlotte Tolle and husband Bill, Joyce Dudley and husband George, Brothers; Jimmy “Wayne” Black and wife Betty, Billy Black Sr. and wife Cathy, Charles “Booger” Black and wife Pam, Sister In Law; Marie Redding, 13 Nieces and Nephews and numerous Great nieces and nephews.       Helen was a loving Wife, Sister, and Aunt.  She will be dearly missed and always remembered.   Her family will have a small family gathering at a later date.
