Addie Weems

Addie Weems, 86 of Kirbyville passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Shultz Funeral Home at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 6, 2022. A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 7, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Magnolia Cemetery in Beaumont. The family will greet friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday evening at Shultz Funeral Home.

Adelaide “Addie” was born on December 29, 1935 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. A resident of Copperas Cove and Beaumont, she moved to Jasper County in 2020. She worked as a secretary for the Diocese of Beaumont and was a mom, grandmother and a great grandmother. She is survived by her daughters Linda Boyd &husband Clint of Kirbyville and Joyce Barry &husband Steve of Battle Creek, Michigan; grandchildren Joshua, Kolby, Krystal, Stephanie, Christina, and Jon; as well as great grandson Conor.
