Beatrice "Pookye" Mullins

Beatrice “Pookye” Mullins, 84, of Jasper passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2025. A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025 under the Pavillion at Little Hope Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.

Pookye was born on October 27, 1940 in Port Arthur, Texas to Jesse & Virginia Barbosa Sr. A loving wife, mother, sister, and friend, she is survived by her son Darrell Garcia & wife Istre; brothers Carlos “Tate” Barbosa and Richard Barbosa; sisters Jessica “Chuy” Garcia, Elizabeth “Libby” Ferguson, and Mary Louise “Lulie” Barbosa.
