He was a lifetime member of Madison Masonic Lodge in Orange, Texas, a member of the Bridge City Masonic Lodge and Brookeland Masonic Lodge. Mr. Busby taught masonic work for over 50 years, many men fondly remember studying with him under his big oak tree.
Carl and Alice spent many happy times being ham radio operators, making world-wide friends. Carl loved and enjoyed children and dogs. He rebuilt bikes with the Orange Police Department for Children at Christmas. He also provided a nice piece of concrete for kids to skate and ride bikes.
