Carolyn Smith Adair

Carolyn Smith Adair, 74, of Jasper passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2023 in Jasper. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Shultz Funeral Home in Jasper. The family will greet friends from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.

Carolyn was born on December 11, 1948 to Gene Tunney &Edna Smith in Beaumont, Texas. She was raised and lived in Silsbee, Texas most of her life, until she moved to Jasper 2008. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, she is survived by her husband, whom she married on September 3, 1994, Bobby Adair of Jasper; sons Ralph R. Osborne II &wife Shanna of Silsbee, Paul Car &wife Alita of Groves, Robert Wade Adair Jr. &wife Caroline of Beaumont; daughters Stacie Osborne of Fort Worth, Shandra Myers &husband Hoyt of Jasper, Emily Suzanne Zeno &husband Joe of Breaux Bridge, La, Connie Ebarb of Bon Wier, and Karen Smith of Kirbyville; brother David Smith &wife Barbara of Silsbee; as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Gene Tunney Smith and Edna Smith, grandson Cory Alexander and step-son Stephen Adair.
