Charles "Sonny" Sanchez

Charles “Sonny” Sanchez, 73, of Jasper passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at Timberridge Nursing and Rehabilitation in Jasper. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Shultz Funeral Home Chapel. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time. A private interment will be held at Haven of Rest Cemetery in Beaumont.

Charles “Sonny” was born on April 21, 1953 in Beaumont, Texas to A.G. Sanchez and Leona Segeada. A long-time resident of the Beaumont Area, he and his wife Wanda moved to Jasper from LaBelle. Sonny worked for the oil industry for many years until his retirement.

He is survived by his son Sonny Sanchez of Austin; brothers Joe Sanchez of Silsbee and George Sanchez of Alvin; as well as grandsons Elijah & Ethan. He is preceded in death by his wife Wanda Sanchez and daughter Brandi Sanchez.
