Charles Westbrook Sr.

Charles Edsel Westbrook Sr. ,90, of Jasper passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2021. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Shultz Funeral Home with interment to follow at Hancock Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Wednesday evening at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

A native and life-long resident of Jasper, he was born on June 17, 1931. A welder by trade until his retirement, he was also a member of the National Guard and he loved cars. He is survived by his sons Charles Edsel Westbrook Jr. &wife Theresa, Al Zimmerman Westbrook, and Richard Clark Westbrook &wife Sherry all of Jasper; grandchildren Christopher Ray, Crystal Rochell, Richard Clark, Guy Mitchell and Mark Edsel; as well as five great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Guy Zimmerman Westbrook and Bertha Griffen Westbrook, his wife Betty Sue Westbrook, a sister Billie Guy, and a grandson Charles Edsel Westbrook III.
