Christopher Don Fitzwater

Chris Fitzwater, 33, of Jasper, Texas passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Shultz Funeral Home with a private interment at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Friday, August 15, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Chris was born on October 18, 1991 in Jasper, Texas to J.W. “Dub” Dotson & Susan Fitzwater. He was a lifelong resident of Jasper who loved to hunt, play video games, and to grill outside enjoying family and friends. He was a devoted fan of the Green Bay Packers and enjoyed cheering for his favorite team.

He leaves behind a family that he loved and cherished. He is survived by his wife Sky Fitzwater; son Grayson Christopher Fitzwater; daughter Mazie Lynn Fitzwater; brother Rodney Dotson; uncles David “Bubba” Fitzwater, Dayle Fitzwater & wife Kathy, Robert “Boober” Fitzwater, and Dan Tvrz & wife Judy; numerous cousins, and best friends Trent Whitehead and Scott Holcomb. He is preceded in death by his parents J.W. “Dub” Dotson and Susan Fitzwater, and his grandparents Robert “Bob” Fitzwater and Delores “Ninny” Ilene Fitzwater.
