David Paul Gates, 69, of Jasper, passed away on November 26, 2024. A private ceremony will be held with family and friends at a later date.

David was born on June 1, 1955 to George and Ester Gates in Orange, Texas. David was a life-long resident of Jasper that loved motorcycles, and is a Jasper High School graduate. He is survived by his son Evan Gates; Brother Nathan Gates of Gist; Sister Anita Gates of Jasper; Nieces Tammy Turner Milton, Cheyenne Gates, Amy Cates; Nephews Russell Casteel, Adams Gates &Wesley John Gates.
