Dee Wendt-Ellis, 80, of Jasper passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Herman Memorial Hospital in Houston. A Celebration of Life Service will be held via Zoom on Saturday, January 16, 2021. A native and long-time resident of Orange, Texas, Dee was born on April 8, 1940 to Niles &Kathryn Sutton. She worked for AT &T as an operator and moved to Jasper in 2018. She is survived by her step-sons Marlin Ellis and Freddie Hughes; step-daughter Lisa Ellis; and a cousin Daphne Sandoz &husband Stuart. She is preceded in death by beloved step-dad Bernard Christian Wendt, sister Dawn Lee Sutton Bryan and a brother Robert Reo Sutton.
