Don Young

Don Young, 71, of Jasper passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Shultz Funeral Home. The family will greet friends on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

A native of Bessmay, Texas, Don was born on April 23, 1949 to Floyd &Ima Young. He was a resident of Jasper and resided in the Rock Hill Community for the past 29 years. He was a member of the Tri-Community Fire Department. He is survived by his wife Melissa Young of Jasper, whom he married on March 19, 1992, sons Kane Torres of Jasper and Jaydon Young of Jasper; daughter Rainie Lrkin &husband Curtis of Jasper; sisters Barbara Hattaway of Jasper and Ettie McCullough of Liberty; grandchildren MaryAnn and Avalynn; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
