Earl Reed Jr.

Earl “Pops” Reed Jr., 82, of Jasper passed away on Friday, August 7, 2020. He dedicated his life to Jehovah on January 5, 2008. He served as a faithful Jehovah's Witness until his death. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Kingdom Hall Jehovah Witness via Zoom only.

Earl “Pops” was born on September 2, 1937 in Chaneyville, Louisiana to Earl &Betty Reed Sr. A resident of Houston, he moved to Jasper in 1983 and he worked and retired from Golden Corral. He is survived by extended family John &Karla Harris of Jasper and Lucas Harris of Jasper; daughter Betty Reed of Houston; step-daughters Temika Webbert of Houston, Stephanie Webbert of Houston and LaQuitha Webbert; a foster son Roderick Felder of Arizona; mother of Betty Rose Dawson of Houston; 17 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Earl &Betty Reed Sr. a wife Verdie Mae Reed and a brother David Lee Reed.
