Faye Jones

1934 - 2020

Faye Jones, 85, of Jasper passed away on Monday, March 16, 2020 at Woodville Health &Rehab Center in Woodville. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Jasper Church of Christ in Jasper with Reception to follow at the Christian Service Center. The family will greet friends on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Shultz Funeral Home in Jasper.

Faye was born on September 03, 1934 to Cordie &Lon Boyett in Temple Springs in Jasper County, Texas. A longtime resident of Silsbee, Beaumont and Jasper. From 1977 - 1996 she was an Assistant Cashier for 1st State Bank in Jasper. Preceded in death by her parents Cordie &Lon  Boyett, husband Thomas Fred Jones, Daughter Linda Ellis Bryant and son Robert "Bobby" Ellis. Survivors include sisters Phoebe Irvine &Roy of Athens, TX and Edith Bryan of Jasper, TX; grandchildren Kellie Mabry &husband Michael of Woodville, TX and Robert Ellis of Lufkin, TX; as well as great grandchildren Alanna, Leeland &Karlie McIntyre of Woodville, TX, Kolton &Kahne Mabry of Fairfield, TX and Tucker Dane &Kadon Eli Ellis of Lufkin, TX.
