Glenn E. Bertrand Jr.,46, of Jasper passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2026 in Chenoa, Illinois. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Shultz Funeral Home in Jasper. The family will greet friends on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. If you are unable to attend the service, it will be live streamed via our Facebook page at Shultz Funeral Home & Crematory.

Glenn was born in Port Arthur, Texas on September 28, 1979 to Glenn Bertrand Sr. & Peggy Root. A hard-working man who loved his career in the trucking industry, he and his wife Kim have been on the road for the last four years working and doing what he loved. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and a good slot machine in his spare time.

He is survived by his wife Kim Bertrand of Jasper, father Glenn Bertrand Sr. of Houston, mother Peggy McMurrough & husband Joe of Jasper; sons Westen Bertrand & Candace of Jasper, William Treadway & Haley of Warner Robbins, Georgia, and Matthew Treadway of Fannett; daughter Jessica Cooper & D.J. of Newton; brothers Jeremy Bertrand & Twayla of Huntington, John McMurrough & Macie of Jasper, and Joe McMurrough & Tara of Jasper; sister Mary Beth McMurrough of Jasper; as well as grandchildren Kamden, Kaden, Konnor, Ella, Rossi Jo, W.C., Atlas, Tucker, and one on the way.
