Gloria “Glo” Ramirez, 83, of Jasper passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at Rayburn Healthcare and Rehabilitation. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, December 26, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at Shultz Funeral Home in Jasper. The family will greet friends on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Gloria was born on January 25, 1942 in Elkhart, Texas to Russel & Ina Harris. She worked as a dispatcher and peace officer for the Palestine Police Department. She was an artist, who could paint, draw, and just be creative with her talents. Mostly she loved her family and was extremely proud of them and their accomplishments.
She is survived by her sons Chuck Ramirez & wife Jamie of Bridge City and Steve Ramirez & wife Karen of Baton Rouge; daughters Janet Feagin & husband William of Brookeland and Nikki Smith & husband Jason of Brookeland; grandchildren Jennifer, Cody, Nina, Zack, Jay-Lyn, Zach, Chase, Jordan, Dustin, Josh, Sheena, A.J., Brandi, Katy, Michael, Miles and great grandchildren Stevie, Josh, Liam, Aiden, Avery, Ridge, Kamden, Kaisen, Leighland, Lawson, Emma Grace, Ellie Jordan, Dallas, Preston, James Paul “J.P.”, Alexis, Caden, Skylar, and Ethan; as well as a great great grandchild Gianna.
