Jane Palmer Stewart

Jane Palmer Stewart, 79, of Jasper passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Shultz Funeral Home in Jasper with interment to follow at Little Hope Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Jane was born on July 6, 1941 in Beaumont, Texas to Alton &Esther Palmer. A resident of Jasper since 1995, she was a member of the Jasper High School class of 1960 and was a member of Erin Missionary Baptist Church. A loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by her sons Stephen Wayne Stewart of Jasper and Brad Palmer Stewart &wife Stephanie of Seabrook; sister Linda Kellum &husband Jack of Jasper; grandchildren Brittney, Stephanie &Sydney; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Gordon Stewart.
