Jay Mark Adkins

Jay Mark Adkins, 57, of Bronson passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, in Nacogdoches, Texas.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at 4:00 p.m. at the Jasper County Cowboy Church.  The family will greet friends on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

A native of San Augustine, Texas, Jay Mark was born on September 9, 1964, to Elmer &Audrey Adkins.  A resident of Bronson, Texas, he worked as a log truck driver, and loved the outdoors.  He also loved woodworking, carpentry, and welding.  He is survived by his sons J.M. Adkins &fiancé Ashley of Hemphill, Robert Naylor of Fort Worth, and John Wheeler of Southern California; daughters Emmalee Hopkins &David Flint of Bronson and Chrystal Hines of Longview; brother Larry Miller &wife Leona of Bronson; sister Elizabeth Lancaster of Coleman; as well as numerous grandchildren.  Condolences can be posted at www.shultzfuneralhomeofjasper.com or on Facebook at Shultz Funeral Home &Crematory.
