Jerry Leon Trotti, 79, of Jasper passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. at Beech Grove Baptist Church. The family will greet friends from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
Jerry Leon Trotti was born in a little house off of 1747 in Beech Grove to Hazel &Buck Trotti on December 30, 1941. Jerry grew up and at the age of 18 enlisted in the United States Army. He was soon promoted to Sergeant Trotti. While home on leave, he met his sweetheart Lola on July 17, 1960 and they were married one month later on August 20, 1960. He served three years active duty in Bamberg, Germany and two years inactive. After the Army, Jerry and Lola settled in Thibodaux, Louisiana, and had two girls, Tammy and Angie. They eventually made their way back to Texas, where he raised his family. Jerry worked in the oilfield all of his life and retired from Arco Oil and Gas as a Drilling Consultant in 1995. He also drilled water wells, had Trotti’s Tree Service, and Jerry’s Stump Grinding. He was always working or helping someone do something! He loved The Lord, his family and friends, his Church Family and especially deer hunting. He will be missed dearly and we will cherish all the great memories we have with him. He is survived by his wife Lola Trotti; daughters Tammy Trotti and Angie McLeod &husband Troy; eight grandchildren; as well as numerous great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Beech Grove Baptist Church Children’s Fund.
