Jimmy Granger

Jimmy Granger, 59, of Brookeland passed away on Saturday, 21, 2022 at Port Bolivar, Texas.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, May 27, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Shultz Funeral Home with interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Holly Springs.  The family will greet friends on Thursday evening May, 26, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.       Leon James “Jimmy” Granger was born on December 26, 1962 in Jasper, Texas to Leon James Sr. &Mary Etta Granger.  A lifelong resident of Jasper and a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church, he worked for the Texas Department of Transportation until he retired in 2021.  He is survived by his fiancé Frannie Greer of Jasper; son James Derek Granger of Fort Worth; daughter Sasha Denee Granger of Tiger Creek; nieces Robbie Johnson of Santa Fe and Lorri Ryan &husband James of Jasper; great nieces and nephews Jake Shaver of California, Laycon Shaver of Jasper, Aarron Johnson &Payton Johnson of Santa Fe; as well as 5 grandchildren.  Condolences can be posted at www.shultzfuneralhomeofjasper.com or on Facebook at Shultz Funeral Home &Crematory.
