John Koogler

John Koogler, 69, of Newton passed away on Monday, May 10, 2021 in Beaumont, Texas. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, May 16, 2021at 2:00 p.m. at Shultz Funeral Home in Jasper. The family will greet friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

A native of Gilbert, Arizona, he was born on October 5, 1951 to Clement &Elise Vogel Koogler. A resident of Plum Ridge, he had lived in Newton for the past 4 years. He worked as an engineer with Dow Chemical and loved the outdoors, especially the lake. He is survived by his wife Brenda Koogler of Newton; sons John M. Koogler &wife Sabrina of Phoenix, Arizona, and Craig Koogler of Houston; daughter Kinsye Weaver &husband Kevin of Houston; sister Elyse Cullum and brother Bill Koogler; grandchildren Zane, Keane, Bodie, McLogan, Mason &Everleigh.
