Jose “Chon” Ceniceros, 56, of Jasper passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 in Kingwood, Texas. A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Monday, October 3, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Shultz Funeral Home in Jasper.

Jose was born on August 15, 1966 in Durango, Mexico to Andres Ceniceros &Teresa Resendiz de Ceniceros. A resident of California and Arizona, he had been a resident of Jasper for the past seven years. A welder by trade, he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife Rosalva Medrano of Jasper; sons Eric Ceniceros, Edgar Ceniceros &wife Analia, &Yandell Ceniceros all of Jasper; brothers Jesus Ceniceros and Andres Ceniceros of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Angel Ceniceros of California; sisters Juanita Argomaniz of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Martha Hernandez of California; as well as grandchildren Anthony, Carmen, &Joshua. He is preceded in death by his parents Andres Ceniceros and Teresa Resendiz de Ceniceros and brother Mario Ceniceros. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Shultz Funeral Home.
