Karen Durdin Ward

Karen Durdin Ward, 77 of Jasper, Texas passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2026 at her home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at Shultz Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home.

Karen was born on May 14, 1949 in Jasper, Texas to Malcolm and Joan Durdin. A life-long resident of Jasper, she leaves behind a family that she loved. She is survived by her husband of over 45 years Jim Ward of Jasper, Texas; daughter Lori Ward of Jasper, Texas; grandchildren Blake, Emily, Thomas, and Rylee Crockett; and great-grandson Noah.
