Lucy Lay

Lucy Lay, 83, of Jasper passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2021 in Beaumont, Texas. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Jasper Church of Christ.

Lucy was born on August 18, 1938 in Sweetwater, Texas to Thomas &Doris Cross. She was a graduate of Port Neches High School and was a long-time resident of Jasper. She worked and retired from First National Bank as a bank teller. She is survived by her husband, whom she married on February 7, 1957 in Groves, Art Lay of Jasper; son Rusty Lay &wife Susan of Hideaway; daughter Christie Lay of Call; brother Wayne Cross &wife Karen of Nederland; sister Doris Ridinger of Denison; grandchildren Shelly, Mark &Brandi; great grandchildren Dori, Sierra &Caden.
