Mary Seese

Mary Margaret Seese, 97, of Brookeland, Texas passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026 peacefully at her residence. A native of Wheeling, West Virginia, she was a resident of Brookeland for the past seven years, moving from Sunset Heights, Ohio. Mary was born on October 13, 1928 to John Paul Miller and Bessie Raper. A devoted Christian, she was a member of Kirkwood Presbyterian Church, a member of the Eastern Star, and the Sunset Heights Fire Department Auxillary. She is survived by her sons Dennis Ray Seese of Ocala, Florida, David Allen Seese & wife Leslie of Brookeland, Tx, and Thomas Allen Seese & wife Lisa of Baton Rouge, La; daughter Nancy Ann Dunfee of Brookeland, Tx; as well as 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and 7 great great grandchildren.

A private Celebration of Life will be held with family. Interment in Belmont Memorial Park Cemetery St. Clairsville. Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside assisting the family in Bridgeport, Ohio. Local arrangements were with Shultz Funeral Home of Jasper.
