Paul Phelps "Superman "

Paul Phelps “Superman”, 54, of Jasper passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022 in Silsbee Texas. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Shultz Funeral Home in Jasper with interment to follow at Zion Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Tuesday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Paul was born on November 11, 1967 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to Billy &Effie Phelps. A resident of Lumberton, he moved to Jasper in 1997. He worked in the construction industry and was self-employed. He is survived by his mother Effie Phelps of Jasper; son Brandon Trae Phelps &wife Taylor of Kountze and Tristan Phelps of Beaumont; daughter Andrea Hooks &husband Justin of Silsbee; sister Caradee Cassell of Kountze; as well as 9 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father Billy Preston Phelps, brother Craig Phelps and son Tyler Blaine Phelps.
