Richard "Muddy "Muddiman

Richard “Muddy” Muddiman, 80, of Brookeland passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023, in Jasper, Texas. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 6, 2023, at 11:30 a.m. Rayburn Methodist Church.

Richard was born on September 1, 1942, in Far Rockaway, Queens New York to Violet Baker and Lester Muddiman. Muddy moved to Houston in 1975. He was a real estate construction contractor. He retired to the quiet life in Brookeland in 2014 to Sam Rayburn Lake and was a member of the Rayburn Methodist Church. He is survived by his daughter Cathy Bruton &husband Todd of Cripple Creek, Colorado, a son William Muddiman of Mobley, Missouri, and two grandchildren Hannah and Dietrich.
