Sammie Jo Reynolds

Sammie Jo Reynolds, 79, of Spurger passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Shultz Funeral Home in Jasper with interment at Turner Branch Cemetery in Spurger.  The family will greet friends on Friday, February 18, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.         A native and long-time resident of Spurger, Sammie was born on January 8, 1943 to Luther &Rachel Phillips Sirmons.  She worked as a nurse at Jasper Memorial Hospital and was a member of Spurger Methodist Church.  She is survived by her daughters Kris Davis &husband Glenn of Jasper, Melissa Drane &husband Bernie of Zavalla, and Mandy Arnaud of Spurger; a daughter by love Sarah Laurant &husband Robert of Fred; grandchildren Ben, Katrina and Rachel; as well as great grandchildren Helen JoAnn, Jonathan, Kevin, Evan, Hunner, Ray Lynn, Wyatt, and Emersyn.  Condolences can be posted at www.shultzfuneralhomeofjasper.com or on Facebook at Shultz Funeral Home &Crematory.
