Sarah Boyd

Sarah Boyd, 62, of Jasper passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025 in Jasper. A Celebration of Life Service and Gathering will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at 105 Houston St. Newton, Texas.

Sarah was born on March 2, 1963 in Saratoga, Texas to Raden Woodrow & Rose Boyd. Sarah’s heart and career were devoted to caring for others. She worked for many years as a CNA at Timberidge Nursing Home in Jasper, treating every patient like family. Her love, strength, and honesty made her one of a kind-always helping others, feeding the hungry, and protecting those she loved. Sarah lived a long, challenging life but remained faithful, kind, and unshakably strong. She inspired others through her writing, compassion, and unfiltered truth. Though her absence leaves a deep void, her spirit lives on through her family. She is survived by her daughter Nina Dowden; son Charles Boyd; grandchildren Dustin Houghton, Roy Houghton, Raden Davis, Harmony Madewell Boyd, and Lexxy Dowden; as well as great grandchildren Alcide Dowden, Adonis Dowden, and Brooklyn Houghton. We will miss her dearly but trust in God’s plan and celebrate the beautiful life she lived.
