With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Stacy Dyan Beatty Waggener, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, and Sassy. Stacy left this world on June 6, 2024.
Stacy was born on May 9, 1972 in Jasper, where she spent her life surrounded by family and friends who cherished her deeply. From a young age, Stacy’s outgoing personality and radiant smile lit up every room she entered. She had the ability to make everyone feel welcomed and loved, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her. Stacy never met a stranger and lived life to the fullest. Everyone who knew Stacy knew she was loud and proud; you could hear her voice a mile away.
Stacy’s greatest joy in life was her family. She was a devoted wife to her husband, an adoring mother to her children, a wonderful daughter, and the best Sassy to her granddaughter. She adored playing games every Sunday with her mother and father, FaceTiming her daughter and son in law along with her granddaughter every night just to talk about the day. It was a routine to play games with her husband daily while dinner was cooking and just chatting about life.
Stacy leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and an unyielding spirit. She is survived by her parents, Floyd (Buck) and Karen Beatty, her husband Michael Waggener, daughter Taylor Griffin and her husband Justin Griffin, sons, Lexton and Casen Waggener and one granddaughter Kingslee Griffin.
