Stella Ogden

Stella Lynette Ogden, 63, of Brookeland passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at her home. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Jasper. A Rosary will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the church.

Stella was born on August 31, 1959 in Kountze, Texas to Gerald &Eulalia Broyles. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, she was a member of Saint Michael’s Catholic Church of Jasper. She was a resident of Silsbee but moved to Brookeland in 1987. She is survived by her husband Frankie Jack “Jackie” Ogden of Brookeland; daughters Kimberly Speight of Brookeland and Tammy Jenkins &husband Jody of Brookeland; stepsons Scott Lewis Ogden &wife Lacy of Chester; brother Leonard Broyles of Brookeland; sisters Geraldine Kirkland &husband Glenn of Silsbee, Marilyn Keith &husband Jimmy of Silsbee, Vicky Williams &husband Joe of Jasper, and Mary Ellen Denmon of Silsbee; grandchildren Victoria, Elizabeth, Jerry, Vanessa, Cynthia, Maddie, Allie, Ashley, &Taylor; as well as great grandchildren Dylan, Michael, &Samuel. She is preceded in death by her son Frankie Jack Ogden III and a great granddaughter Ava Lynette Jones.
