Stephanie D. Smith Stanley

Stephanie D. Smith Stanley, 50, passed away on January 3, 2025. A Celebration of Life Services will be held Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in Shultz Chapel. The family will greet friends at guest at 10:00 a.m. until service time at Shultz Funeral Home.

Stephanie was born on October 12, 1974, to Talmadge and Karen Smith. Stephanie was an elementary school teacher; she taught all subjects, but her favorite was Texas history. She loved reading and spending time with her kids and grandkids. She is survived by her husband James K. Stanley of Deer Park, Texas; her father Talmadge Smith of Leander, Texas, sons Roger Gehrel of El Dorado, Texas and Truxton Smith of Deer Park; daughters Lizzy Stanley of Deer Park, Casey Byerly and husband Brett of Jasper, Texas, Paisley Stanley of Jasper, Texas and Haully Smith of Deer Park, Texas; brothers Michael Smith of Deer Park, Texas, and Stephen Moore and wife Mary of Cedar Park, Texas; sister Lindsey Jenkins of Austin, Texas, and six grandchildren.
