Virginia Jeanette Crouse

Jeanette “Mamaw” Crouse, 72, of Kirbyville passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2024 in Beaumont, Texas. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Warren Seventh-day Adventist Church in Warren, Texas.

Jeanette was born on June 15, 1952 in Blackstone, Virginia to Charles and Ada Garland. She loved the outdoors, whether it be camping, gardening, or watching and listening to the ocean waves. She loved games of all kinds, board games, dice, cards, and a good game of cornhole. Her favorite annual event was her notorious Christmas party. She looked forward to this event every year because it meant she got to see loved ones and share her love for them. A faith filled woman who loved God and her family dearly.

She is survived by her husband David Crouse of Kirbyville, Texas; daughter Geneva Mullins &husband Michael of Grandview, Texas; son Mike Lawson &wife Ashley of Venus, Texas; brother Eugene Garland &wife Callie of Louisiana; sisters Deborah Millitzer of Jasper, LaShell Buckner &husband Buck of Tennessee; a sister-in-law Suzette Crouse of Florida; grandchildren Gary Byerley &wife Kristin, Vania Peterson &husband John, Ashley Dent, Kenny Lawson, Michael Lawson, Jordan Head &wife Alicia, Matthew Lawson, and Olivia Lawson; as well as great grandchildren Katelynn, Hunter, Caden, Reese, Emma, Jonathan, Madelynn, Abigail, Karlee, Bronix, Grayson, Gavin, and Leila.
