William Lee Powers

Bill Powers, 64, of Jasper passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2023 in Cypress, Texas. A Celebration of Life will be held March 4, 2023 at 5:45p.m. at Shultz Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

William Lee Powers was born on March 8, 1958 in Port Arthur, Texas to Tommie and Peggy Powers. William married his wife Kathy on February 19, 1994 and they moved to Jasper in 2017. He was owner-operator of his own company Southeast Texas Oil Field Supply. He is survived by his wife of 29 years Kathy Powers of Jasper, stepmother Rosie Powers of Jasper, Texas, sons Lee Tilton and wife Kim of Montgomery, Louisiana, Paul Powers of Mauriceville, Texas; daughter Heather Thibodeaux of Mauriceville, Texas, brother Tommie Powers and wife Tammy of Newton, Texas, nephew Kyle, grandchildren Tristan, Cailley, Victoria, Maryanna, Arain and two great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father Tommie Powers Sr. and his son Blake Powers.
